Tiny Ways to Make Life Feel Fanciful: Wax Seal Stationary

“Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”- William Morris

In a world where everything is instant, it's fun to practice slightly unnecessary and slow forms of communication. Purely for the feel of it.

Making a simple wax seal station
A wax seal station doesn’t need to be elaborate. Tucked away is just fine. In a drawer, a corner of a desk, a small box brought out in the evening. It's just a simple sweet idea to turn to for occasions like birthdays, weddings and Christmas cards.
My custom stamp is from Etsy, you can customise your own similar stamp through stores like 'LeilaGiftCustomStore'.
For simple wax seal kits (with all the trimmings including wax beads and spoon), FreePeople have this pretty flower design kit- https://go.shopmy.us/p-36444058
A seal you love. A few wax colour beads. Wax spoon. Heat source. Thick paper. That's all you need.
Placing a few wax beads into the spoon, heat over a flame until the beads melt fully. Let it cool in the spoon for 10 seconds and pour over your paper or envelope. Leave it another 5 seconds and put your stamp in the liquid wax. Leave the stamp in for 20 seconds or until the wax is hardened. Remove.
