This painting 'Lucern' turned out so pretty I thought i'd show you the behind the scenes of creating it...

The paintings I’ve chosen here all share a similar quality: dark hues, softened edges, and a sense of pause. Landscapes where you quietly get lost inside. 

Green is the colour we return to without realising it. It is the colour of paths worn soft by time, of moss on old stone, of landscapes that don’t ask anything of us.

I've never been that scared of making a mess and that is exactly what art asks of you; allow yourself to make a complete mess and then work with it.
